On October 27, 2016, a pedestrian was severely injured in Connecticut. Rumor is that the pedestrian injured in Connecticut may have been a resident of Chicago.
According to Fox 61, the crash occurred around 7:15PM on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington.
It is currently unclear why this person was on the turnpike or if the driver who hit them was distracted. Details are still unfolding in this case. Fox 61 says “The road is expected to be closed for several hours as the Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Team investigates the crash.”
